How much does each session cost?

Services range in price. Please contact Home Team Wellness & Recovery for pricing and packages that may be the best fit for you!

Home Team Wellness & Recovery is a private-pay practice. Payment is required at or before the time of service and is based on 60 minute sessions with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Home Team Wellness & Recovery is considered out-of-network and can be considered for reimbursement (40-80% of cost) by your insurance company based on your out of network benefits. Please contact your insurance provider for your specific out of network benefits.

DO I need a referral to be seen at home team wellness & recovery?

No. Iowa is considered a Direct Access state, which allows patients to be evaluated by a Physical Therapist without a Dr. referral. At the physical therapist’s discretion, they may or may not refer you to a physician or other medical provider to assist with your care.

WHat is dry needling?

Dry needling is an advanced technique using thin, monofilament needles. Needles are inserted into muscle tissue to help decrease myofascial pain, address trigger points, increase muscle activation and help with recovery post sport. At times, dry needling will be coupled with electrical stimulation to help improve muscle function and relaxation.

do i need to fill out a new patient intake form and consent to treat?

​Yes, after scheduling an appointment you will be sent an email from PtEverywhere with a login to your new patient profile (login can also be found at the top of this page).  There will be an intake form / consent to treat in one document for you to fill out.  Once completed, please sign the document digitally and hit submit.
