Ames Performance Physical Therapy is the only Performance physical therapy clinic in Ames, Iowa. We run a primarily cash-based clinic because this gives us the freedom to:

• See each patient one-on-one for an entire 60 minutes (versus multiple patients at the same time)

• Give you complete cost transparency without co-pays or surprise bills in the mail months later

• Build your physical therapy treatment plan according to your goals and needs, versus your health insurance’s goals that are generic and often required for payment

• Focus on going beyond pain to performance and long-term health and wellness, which insurance companies often deem “unnecessary”

With that said, we believe in providing people with options and assisting them in choosing the payment plan that makes the most sense for their individual needs and situation. We are in network with a few select health insurance companies and can assist you in choosing the payment plan (cash-based vs. insurance-covered) that is right for you.
